# Cartsella Studio > Cartsella Studio is a Shopify app with three tools: it clones a live Shopify store (Production) into a staging store and keeps it in sync; it's a complete Shopify metafields manager that adds field types no other metafields app offers (size charts, specification tables and rich content Shopify's own fields can't hold) and lets a merchant copy already-filled-in metafields between products or between stores instead of filling them in by hand every time; and it creates campaign links that fill a shopper's cart with products and a discount code and open the cart or checkout. Launching soon; not on the Shopify App Store yet: join the waitlist at https://cartsella.com/waitlist (50% off the first year at launch). ## Key facts - Works with any Shopify store that can install apps; Shopify Plus is not required. - Clone & sync: copies products and variants, collections, metafields, metaobjects, files and media, pages and blogs, navigation menus, URL redirects, discounts, markets and translations, shipping, subscriptions (selling plans not owned by another app), locations and inventory. Copies of the live theme and up to 5 other themes (unpublished) are coming once Shopify approves the app's theme access; not available yet. - Clone & sync: a pair is either live → test (staging) store, cloned and synced, or live → expansion store (another live store, e.g. for a new market), which only receives clones and never syncs. The store that receives the copy chooses which when entering the pairing code. - After a clone, the run's page lists the apps to install in the destination (apps the theme uses and apps that own selling plans, with App Store links) and compares store settings no app can copy (currency, taxes, express checkouts, customer accounts, time zone, units, order numbers, languages, markets, shipping countries, plan). - Records removed from staging by a clone are backed up first; they can be restored in one click or exported as a Matrixify .xlsx file (products, pages, blog posts, redirects). - Never copied: customers, orders and draft orders. - Clones and syncs only read from the live store; they never write to it. Syncs show a preview and flag records edited in both stores as conflicts. When cloning, the user chooses whether records that exist only in staging are kept or removed (removal happens only after a backup). - Metafields: a full metafields and metaobjects manager — every field on every resource (products, variants, collections, pages, blog posts, metaobjects), including other apps' data (shown read-only, with one click to make an editable copy), in one screen. No other Shopify app needs to be opened to see or edit a store's product data. - Metafields: a Table field type (size charts, specifications, blank tables) with merged cells, header rows, images, YouTube videos, colors and alignment — a field type no other Shopify metafields app offers, since Shopify's own rich text field can't hold a table. Tables come styled and display correctly in any theme. - Metafields: a merchant never fills in the same field twice. Copy up to 25 already-filled-in fields from one product and paste them onto another, copy a whole field setup (definitions, not just values) from one store to another to set up a new store in seconds, or move chosen fields from a test store into the live store with a preview, an opt-in write and a 30-day undo (values edited in both stores are kept unless overwritten on purpose). Copying data out of old apps into editable native fields works the same way, so a merchant can leave an old app behind without losing its data. - Metafields: field guides with supplier share links (Pro and Agency) — a short written guide per field, shared as a link or a PDF, with a report that finds every product still missing a required field. - Campaign links: live on the store's own domain (/apps/go/), add several products and quantities (including subscriptions), apply a discount code, open the cart, checkout or a product page, can be scheduled, have QR codes and click counts, and each order shows which link it came from (a cart attribute in the order's notes; the app doesn't read orders, so it doesn't count orders or sales). "Share on" adds UTM tags per channel (QR codes are tagged qr), and "Pre-fill checkout" adds Klaviyo or Mailchimp merge tags so email and SMS recipients' email and name are filled in at checkout; nothing about a shopper is stored. Campaign links change nothing in the store. Included in Duo, Pro and Agency. - Billing is through Shopify. Every store has one 14-day free trial from its first install; a plan chosen during it keeps the days left free, and Shopify starts billing by itself after them. Development stores are never billed and can use any plan up to Pro. Yearly billing = 12 months for the price of 10. - Waitlist: leaving an email on the website's waitlist (https://cartsella.com/waitlist) gives 50% off any plan for the first 12 months on monthly billing (a code emailed at launch, entered on the app's Plans page). ## Pricing (USD per 30 days) - Starter: $29 — 1 store pair, up to 1,000 products, clone & scheduled sync, metafield tables & size charts - Duo: $49 — 2 store pairs, up to 1,000 products, everything in Starter plus campaign links (subscriptions included) - Pro: $99 — 3 store pairs, up to 10,000 products, everything in Duo plus field guides and chat support - Agency: $299 — 5 store pairs, no product limit (subject to Shopify's API limits), everything in Pro plus live sync A "store pair" is one live (Production) store plus its staging store. One plan can be shared across several pairs. ## Pages - [Home](https://cartsella.com/): The Shopify app to clone your store into staging, add tables and size charts to metafields, and share links that fill the cart with a discount. - [Campaign links](https://cartsella.com/campaign-links): Create Shopify links that fill the cart with products, subscriptions and a discount code, then open cart or checkout.
