Simple, and it doesn't cost you anything
- 10% of what we actually receive from a merchant you referred on a monthly plan, 20% on an annual plan, or 30% on an annual Agency plan — not a one-off bonus, it repeats every year they keep paying.
- Anyone can refer, not just agencies or existing customers.
- No self-referrals. The merchant has to be a different, unrelated business — not your own store or another pair in your own organization.
- Development stores and free trials don't qualify. The reward only starts once Shopify actually bills the merchant.
About the referral program
How much do I actually earn?
10% of what Cartsella Studio receives from the merchant you referred if they're on a monthly plan, 20% if they're on an annual plan, or 30% if it's an annual Agency plan, paid out once a year, for as long as they stay a paying customer. There's no limit on how many merchants you can refer.
When do I get paid?
Once a year, for every merchant you referred who's still an active paying customer — 10% for a monthly plan, 20% for an annual one, 30% for an annual Agency plan. We'll confirm exactly how payouts work before the program launches.
Can I refer my own store or another one of my pairs?
No. The referred merchant has to be a different, unrelated business. Referring yourself, another store you own, or another pair in your own organization doesn't qualify.
Does it matter which plan or billing period they're on?
Yes. A monthly plan earns you 10%, an annual plan earns 20%, and an annual Agency plan earns 30%. Free trials and development store test charges don't count either way, since Shopify never actually bills those.
