Create one Cartsella Studio campaign link per creator. Each link sits on your own domain (yourstore.com/apps/go/anna), fills the cart with the products you choose, applies that creator's discount code, and opens the cart or checkout. You see each link's clicks, and each order shows which link it came from. It's built for merchants who already work with creators, not a creator marketplace.
Where creator sales leak
Look at the usual path from a "link in bio":
- The follower taps the link and lands on your home page, or on a product page with the wrong size selected.
- They look for the product the creator showed, add it, and look for the other items in the bundle.
- They try to remember the code from a caption or a story that has already disappeared.
- Somewhere along the way they get distracted. Mobile shoppers, which is nearly all of them here, drop out quickly.
Every one of those steps is a place where the sale walks away. The creator did the hard part, getting attention, and the checkout path wastes it.
What a creator link does instead
One tap, and the shopper sees this: the creator's picks already in the cart, the creator's discount applied, and checkout ready to pay. Nothing to search for, nothing to type.
Set one up in a few minutes
- Create the creator's discount code in Shopify, the way you normally would. A code per creator is what lets you see sales per creator in Shopify's own discount reports too.
- Create a campaign link in Cartsella Studio named after the creator, like
anna. - Add the products the creator is featuring, with variants and quantities. For refills or boxes, choose each product's subscription option so the link adds a subscription, which plain cart links can't do (here's why).
- Add their code and choose where the link opens: the cart, or straight at checkout.
- Send it to the creator. Use "Share on" to copy a version tagged for where they'll post it (Instagram, TikTok and so on), or download a QR code for a video, a print or a packaging insert.
Why it suits creator campaigns
- Your domain, your brand. The link is
yourstore.com/apps/go/anna, not a stranger's shortener. Followers recognise your store, and the loading screen can carry your own title, message and colour. - Schedule it. Set a start and end date for a launch or a seasonal push. Before and after, the link quietly opens your home page instead of an error.
- Pause it. When a partnership ends, pause that creator's link in one click. See pausing a campaign link.
- Change it without a reprint. Swap the products or the code behind a link later and the link, or its QR code, stays the same.
- Keep it private. The campaign's internal name isn't shown to shoppers, so a name like "anna-spring-test" stays internal. See private campaign names.
What you'll see for each creator
Each link shows how many clicks it got in the last 30 days, and each order that came through it carries the link's name in the order's notes in Shopify. Links copied with "Share on" carry UTM tags for their channel, so they also show up in Shopify's own reports. Together with a code per creator, you can line up clicks, orders and code use side by side. For how the tags work, read UTM tags, explained.
To be clear about scope: Cartsella Studio doesn't pay commissions or run an affiliate programme. It makes the link and shows the clicks and orders. If you pay creators a percentage, you'd still work that out from your orders or from the affiliate tool you already use.
Give every creator a link that ends at checkout.
Join the waitlist: 50% off your first yearA few ways merchants use it
- Seeding and gifting: a link per creator for their audience, with a first-order code.
- Bundles the creator curated: "Anna's routine" as three products in one link.
- Subscribe-and-save drops: the creator's audience starts a subscription directly, with the plan already chosen.
- Events and pop-ups: a QR code on the creator's table, opening the same cart.
Campaign links are included on Duo, Pro and Agency.
Frequently asked questions
How do I give an influencer a Shopify link with their discount code?
Create the discount code in Shopify, then create a campaign link in Cartsella Studio with the products and that code. The link applies the code for the shopper and opens the cart or checkout.
Can I see which creator an order came from?
Yes. Each order that came through a link shows the link's name in its notes in Shopify, and each link shows its clicks.
Does Cartsella Studio pay creators or track commissions?
No. It creates the links and shows clicks and orders per link. Commissions are worked out from your orders or your affiliate tool.
Can a creator link add a subscription?
Yes. Choose a product's subscription option and the link adds it to the cart with its selling plan, which Shopify's own cart links can't do.
What happens when a creator campaign ends?
Outside its dates, or when paused, the link opens your home page rather than a broken page.
Does the creator need to install anything?
No. The creator just shares the link or QR code. Only your store uses Cartsella Studio.
