One plan for all your stores: how store pairs and plan sharing work

Many merchants run more than one Shopify store: one per market, each with its own test store. Here's how Cartsella Studio counts them, and how one plan covers them all.

What's a store pair?

A pair is one live (Production) store and the store it copies into: its staging store, or an expansion store for another market. Plans are sized by pairs:

PlanStore pairsProductsPrice
Starter11,000$29 / 30 days
Duo21,000$49 / 30 days
Pro310,000$99 / 30 days
Agency5No limit$299 / 30 days

Yearly billing is 12 months for the price of 10. Billing goes through Shopify, and every plan starts with a free trial.

Pay once, cover several pairs

Say you sell in the UK, the US and the EU, each store with its own test store. That's three pairs. Instead of paying three times, one store pays for Pro and shares it:

  1. In the paying store, offer the plan to another pair. You get a share code, valid for 7 days.
  2. An owner of the other pair enters the code and accepts. Both sides have to agree.
  3. That pair now uses the shared plan and counts towards that plan's pair limit.

Each pair keeps its own data; only the plan is shared. A plan can't be shared onwards, and the paying store can't move to a plan smaller than the pairs it covers.
